H2020 BOWI (https://bowi-network.eu/): “Boosting Widening Digital Innovation Hubs”. Virtech developed the AgeWare solution (“Active and Healthy Ageing by using Advanced IoT-enabled SoftWare Solutions”) and took part in development of two other solutions: BULCHARGE “Innovative EV-charging solutions in Bulgaria” and RWHL “Body Hydration Monitor”. AgeWare is a Smart Energy and Active and Healthy Aging solution in operational environment with end-users in Sofia. The implementation plan of AgeWare was divided in 6 important stages. The first one aims to define the user requirements, functional and technical specification of the AgeWare (AW) solution with a set of minimal viable service configuration. Further, the implementation of the AW solution follows, with the defined functionalities: Smart Energy Services, Smart Health and Fitness Services, GDPR compliant module, smart contracting and call center functionality. The third phase aims at setting up appropriate digital infrastructure and IoT devices in at least 5 homes of elderly people, organize the necessary software installation, set up databases and data processing facilities.
